Description
Hopkins and Company is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, food and beverage-loving Brand Marketing Intern to join our team this Summer. This is a unique opportunity to get a first-hand look behind the scenes of the hospitality industry. You will gain exposure to a wide range of Brand Marketing functions including social media, web, and email communications, restaurant operations, events and more. The perfect candidate is hard-working, has a “no task too small” attitude and is a fan of our restaurants and shops.  


A Small Sampling of What You’ll Do:  

  • Schedule social media posts and regularly engage with direct messages, comments, and mentions to boost engagement. Ideate and coordinate content for Instagram Reels. 

  • Write and schedule email content: marketing menu items, special programs, and local events.

  • Assist in menu printing, uploading to websites, and delivering printed content to brands. 

  • Work onsite at brands as a marketing ambassador, assisting with food tasting, welcoming guests, coordinating giveaways, and engaging with the team. 

  • Assist with influencer gifting and messaging, coordinating onsite visits. 

  • Capture and compile photography for social media posts, marketing collateral, websites and promotions. 

  • Regularly review periodicals (i.e. Garden & Gun, Imbibe, Wine Spectator, Southern Living and New York Times) to inform of trends.

Education and Experience Qualifications:  

  • You have a background (or interest) in marketing, or are working towards a degree in a related field. 

  • You are a rising college senior or junior, or recent graduate. 

  • Must have a car to run errands and perform marketing duties. 

  • Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed; to be determined at outset of internship. 

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects and perform multiple tasks.  

  • Other skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, Video and Web programs.  

  • Respect for our brands and a passion for food, beverage and hospitality.  

What You Can Expect:  

  • Part-Time Paid Internship

  • 20-30 Hours, Tuesday-Friday, 10am-4pm with flexible hours on Fridays working onsite at brand locations.
