We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Culinary Director. As a member of the Senior Leadership roster, this individual will be responsible for the overall culinary operations of all concepts across Hopkins & Company. Hopkins and Company is a boutique hospitality group in Atlanta, Georgia. Guided by Gina and Chef Linton Hopkins, we are a team of dedicated professionals championing integrity and education in the restaurant industry. Our locations include C. Ellet's Steakhouse, Holeman and Finch Public House, H&F Burger and Hop's Chicken at Ponce City Market, and H&F Bottle Shop.

What are the responsibilities?
- Oversee entire culinary operations for 4 restaurants in Atlanta encompassing 150+ employees and responsible for an annual revenue of $16 million
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to General Managers and Culinary Leadership to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, service, and guest experience
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to maintain efficiency and consistency across all locations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for guests and employees
- Oversee inventory management, operational ordering, and manage food costs to maintain budgetary targets
- Reviews schedules to ensure labor goals are met, proper coverage is maintained, and schedules are posted on time along with the weekly family meal plan
- Report on financial performance and recommend improvements for profitability
- Collaborate with our Executive Chef on menu development and implementation and with culinary teams at individual locations to develop and refine menu offerings
- Standardize recipes, portion sizes, and presentation techniques
- Conduct regular quality checks and taste testing to ensure adherence to established recipes and standards
- Build and nurture relationships with local artisans & farmers, curating exceptional offerings from regional producers
- Oversee the professional development and hiring of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring a motivated and skilled team
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and professional growth
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team members' skills and capabilities
- Conduct training programs and workshops for kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills, drive retention and engagement, and maintain consistent cooking techniques
- Minimum 7-10 years in a senior leadership role in the Restaurant/Hospitality industry
- Preferred candidates have a culinary degree OR bachelor’s degree in hospitality management/business
- Deep understanding of FOH and BOH operations, including F&B standards, compliance, and financial reporting
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams
